Vehicle Description NEW ARRIVAL:
1963 IMPALA SS Chevrolet's latest weapon in the sales wars was the Jet-Smooth riding 1963 IMPALA SS, featuring a handsomely redesigned body.
Though the stylish convertible-like hardtop silhouette remained, straight A-pillars modernized the roof design.
The forward-prow rectangular mesh anodized aluminum grille was expanded to full width with the familiar quad headlamps--now housed in individual bezels--set into it.
Bright trim was added to the top and sides, and the bumper was revised with a kick-up in the middle.
Parking lamps, though still in the same relative area under the headlamps, were reduced in size, reshaped and now featured amber lenses.

Bright engine-turned (swirl pattern) aluminum trim accented it on SS-optioned cars.

Vehicle vin breakdown authenticates a 1963 2dr Sport Coupe built in St Louis Missouri.
Data tag verifies trim #875 bucket seat confirming SS trim pkg.
A beautiful fully restored second owner vehicle, his father was original owner.
Stock engine was a 409 but now updated to a 350/383 /420 HP with chrome trim,dual electric cooling fans ,MSD ignition and Hedman headers and new exhaust system.
A rebuilt 308 posi traction 10 bolt rear end with Original 4 speed manual updated to a 350 Turbo hydramatic with a floor shifter.
Exterior fully restored and repainted black urethane bc/cc Intrerior restored to OEM specifications with replacing optional A/C compressor updated with new A/C system.
Audio also updated with Alpine stereo.
Frame was restored and painted and front and rear suspension rebuilt.
